Caroline Wenig
Caroline Wenig was born in Hannover and began her career in photography before heading to the USA to run a successful photo agency. She has lived and worked in several European cities including Paris, Munich and Frankfurt but now concentrates full time on her painting which she does from her studio in Provence. Inspired by her natural surroundings and the warmth of the sun her pictures are almost energetically charged and convey a real sense of power and joie de vivre. Painting with unusual perspectives and in rich sometimes surreal colours Caroline's work evokes a heady feeling of warmth, fragrance and sunlight.
